Pour a small amount of mild soap into lukewarm water and gently use your fingers to clean your jewelry. You can also use a very soft brush for cleaning jewelry with intricate details, which can otherwise be difficult to clean. If the dirt is hard to remove, soak the jewelry in clean water and then polish and dry with a jewelry safe cloth to avoid scratching. A jewelry safe cloth is also a great tool to make your sterling silver jewelry shine again if the pieces have become dull. However, it will not remove scratches. Please never use silver-polishing cloth to clean your gold plated jewelry!
